About Moss Creek Log Cabin
2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom vacation log cabin sleeps 6 with mountain views out every window
This is a newly constructed, luxury vacation log cabin on 6 private acres with abundant hardwood trees and mountain laurel. The vacation cabin has views out every window of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen has granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances. The whole cabin has new furniture with some custom pieces, as well as a floor-to-ceiling wood burning, natural stone fireplace. Ash hardwood flooring is on main level, and a large master bedroom with king size bed. The master bath has imported stone flooring, marble counter top on the vanity, a large stone tile shower and a 6' free standing cast iron tub. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs. The large upstairs loft area has a sectional sofa and a 52 inch flat screen TV. All TVs are connected to Dish Network. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo with stone tile flooring and a granite counter top. The downstairs living room has a pull out sofa.
This cabin encourages you to bring the living outside with a large front porch with rocking chairs and side deck. Just off of this deck is a large custom fire pit (firewood provided), picnic area with park-like charcoal grill and a Hot Springs 5 person hot tub.
This vacation log cabin is only 10 miles from downtown Hendersonville, 12 miles from Lake Lure and 26 miles from downtown Asheville.
This cabin is non-smoking property and no pets are allowed. The vacation log cabin rents by the night, weekend or week.

Enjoyed the fire pit and spa that are on property. The master bedroom and bath are fabulous. The beds are comfortable and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Would definitely like to visit Hendersonville Vacation Log Cabins again.

A lovely log cabin that was nice and comfortable but best suited for 4 versus 5 people given only two bedrooms. Kitchen had all of the essentials. Fire pit and hot tub were a real plus. Lots of firewood but would have been nice if there was a roof or protection over the wood given it rained some.
Grill is functional but a real gas grill would have been a plus- particularly given it can be quite windy and a covered grill might work better . Definitely was as advertised- we really enjoyed it.

We loved our stay at this vacation log cabin. A perfect getaway from our busy lives to relax in nature. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day of hiking and exploring Chimney Rock. Our boys (6 &8) loved playing in the yard and calm evenings by the fire. Special thanks to Todd and Lori for sharing this gem with us. They were very responsive from start to end. We will absolutely be back next year!

The Vacation Log Cabin is really nice and actually larger than we thought. It is in a very peaceful area and there isn’t much around. This was exactly what we were looking for. Even our two younger children loved the place. Todd was great and made sure everything was in place. The kitchen is well equipped and we particularly enjoyed sitting by the outside fire pit and the interior fire place. The only downfall was that the firewood was wet. It had been raining for several days so none of the wood would burn. I easily fixed that by just getting some logs at Ingles. I would definitely stay here again.

There is not one thing I can complain about when it comes to this vacation log cabin. The log cabin itself is beautiful and it has everything you could possible want and need! My boyfriend and I loved every moment of our time spent in the cabin and outside enjoying the hot tub. We had a few outdoor activities planned that were put aside to enjoy more time inside the cabin because we loved it so much! Thank you to the Moss family for giving us the opportunity to stay in your amazing vacation log cabin. We will definitely be back again!

How close are your vacation log cabins to Asheville, Hendersonville and Lake Lure?
Our cabins are a short 10 miles to downtown Hendersonville, only 12 miles to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure, and only 24 miles to Downtown Asheville.
Are there lots of things to do close by the cabins?
Absolutely! Whether you like outdoors related things like hiking, biking or fishing, or indoor activities like touring sites such as the Biltmore House and Gardens, Carl Sandburg home or shopping, there are months of activities close by. Visit our Things to Do page for much more detail.
